Re: Official SMU-Tech Game Thread
the 2nd half should expose our real weakness (lack of depth); we have to hope we can hold them on this opening drive and then start controlling the ball like we did on that one scoring drive. Need to turn the momentum early to keep this one from getting ugly
Re: Official SMU-Tech Game Thread
We need a stop to start the second half. The "D" has really been fantastic today. They have also gotten no help from the offense. I am worried about the body language from the "O" while the "D" is on the field. These guys look beaten. They need to find something within and fight until the end. The body language of our kids worries me.

Gotta agree with that CP. Depth is a huge issue against strong teams.

Good thing this game doesn't count for anything...

Re: Official SMU-Tech Game Thread
There is nothing we can do about depth until next year. We will get there. This game is not out of reach. We need to have longer possessions and take pressure off our defense. We will also tighten the game and work on Potts nerves.

I suppose the SMU unbridled commercial is hoping to increase diversity in the future student body; not a bad idea
Re: Official SMU-Tech Game Thread
How do commercials work in National TV games? That was the first SMU commercial I have seen against 5 or 6 of Tech. Granted I have traveled to the bar numerous times and might have missed some.

I feel a turnover / special teams mistake for Tech coming up.

Will the protection of an indoor facility better prepared a team for conditions they are experiencing today????

We've got to stop Leong. I mean seriously. That kid catches EVERYTHING.
