Was it mostly younger kids or older kids or a solid mix? My guess would be younger but I'm not plugged in anymore

We need some students on the board. Hana

This may be the second highest attendence number we see all season, so keep that in mind. Homecoming is the only other game I realistically see beating it.

Yeah. I brought two buddies who graduated from colorado state and they asked where are all the SMU fans? (not that they can talk because CSU has attendance issues as well).

Either way I'm positive about the direction we are going. The fans will come as we get better. I saw alot more young alumni with season season tickets than I thought there would be

Sellouts or close to it the first four games? I'll take it

Hoopfan, has he played TE in the past?

No but he did stay at a Holiday Inn Express on Friday night. Never played offense at HP. I think he was the emergency tight end at HP, but the emergency situation never came in a game I guess. HP offense is 4 wides nearly all the time with a shifty guy in the slot. But i would think his basketball experience has helped with footwork and hand/eye. And thank you RGV and LA. It was a thrill to see him make a contribution for the team/school that i love and to beat NTSU of course...as we should.

So great to see him in an SMU uniform. He will keep surpassing people i would guess. Great athlete and even better young man.

Ill take 25k. If the team is bowl eligible by the time Tulane is in town I can see SMU doing 18-20k. Attendance will build up as the team becomes legit....happens everywhere. Next year we should do better season ticket wise especially if SMU bowls and wins y1 of HCCM

I know me and my buddy left our young alumni section seats at halftime and walked over to the hill to check out the tent and grab a beer. We watched the third quarter from there before moving to the open seats on the home side for the 4th quarter. And yeah, there were a ton of people on the hill. The students have annexed part of it lol

I was surprised when Nick came out for the opening series. His dad came by our Boulevard spot, and told us Nick was going to play a lot.
