This is what happens when you evaluate marginal talent, instead of recruiting top notch talent. . . Was going to spend money for the Rutgers, UCF football games. . . Think I'll just save the money to attend more SMU basketball games.
We have yet to come to play against a B12 team...our plea to join the B12 looks laughable...Hawaiian Zombie is frowny-face on the sideline...just give the job to Mumme at this point...he acts like he gives a crap

In this game we were badly out coached on both sides of the ball. D did not blitz and let a walk-on frosh with 4 weeks of practice eat us alive. 3 man rush did not work. O play calling initially was good and went south in the second half. Time to scrap the GG experiment and let Burcham take over and plan for the future.

I disagree. They simply lack the talent to hang with TTech
I do not see a great talent difference. I see a frosh QB who is simply much better than 5th year GG who still hesitates and does not fully know the offense. Also, KIngsbury out coached JJ with better play calls plus their blitzing was effective and we failed to use the blitz.
Pocono,
You realize that SMU has at most 20 players that Tech would have taken out of HS. Tech has at least 70 players SMU would have taken from HS. HUGE talent difference, especially with depth And I agree, Tech will most likely be a bottom tier Big12 team this season.
