I was there, and thoroughly enjoyed the rushing of the court, and the players obviously did too!

My nine year old son wanted to rush the court. I told him that he'd get hurt down there. You can rush the court when you go to SMU.

Just a fantastic night all around.

I was against rushing the court - but it was so right tonight. Enjoy this night students. It's been a long time.

I recorded a video of the rushing of the court and the playing of "Varsity". If i cN figure out how, I will post it.

I brought a pair of Kansas alumni to the game. They were totally sucked in. Said it was as loud as theyve ever heard it in Lawrence.

I understand the "fun" of it, and I don't believe some are taking my comments as the compliments they're intended to be. SMU is good...damn good in fact. SMU was favored and like it or not, SMU needs to be building on its public perception. Make it seem like we expected the win (even if you're really crapping your pants). I respect everyone that disagrees with me, but as an SMU fan (if the fan police say I can be a fan) I would have preferred for them to not rush the court.

Not a dig at the fans, the students, or the school.

Would have loved to been there to compare.

I think the third or fourth time we knock off a top 10 team, rushing the court will seem old hat.

The kids that rushed the court were not born the last time we beat a top ten. Next year it will be old news and need not be done.
