The teams need Nic too much for him to commit unnecessary fouls.

Against Memphis, Louisville went 4/23 from 3pt range. Against us they went 13/23. There are people on here who know more about college bball than me, but that seems to be a pretty important stat. Couple that with NM in foul trouble all game. I still like our chances if we see them in two weeks! We've beaten the top teams in this conference at least once, except Louisville. Let's beat Memphis and continue to roll Stangs!

I'm new to the boards, and thought some people might enjoy a couple photos from the game last night.

Overall, it was a disappointing to come out looking that great only to be outplayed for the remainder, but I think it will be a good reality check to prepare us for the tournament. If we're going to have any chance to make a deep run, we're going to have to be able to adjust on offense when good teams like UL pressure us. I'm confident Brown will address that.

As I'm sure has already been mentioned, the house was rocking. Great atmosphere, and it was maintained even during the down times of the game.

Respect to Louisville (and especially Smith) for their game last night. Hope we get another shot at them in Memphis and give it right back to them.

I re-watched the game (I know, I'm a loser). Of course, Russ Smith going off was the dagger. On a less emotional reviewing, all I have to say is a couple of those early fouls on Sterling and Nic were absolutely ridiculous. Sterling's 2nd came when Hancock clearly pushed off on HIM. And the 2nd and 3rd fouls on Nic were downright criminal. Of course, I'm not going to blame the refs for the loss, but it just seemed even MORE ridiculous studying the game in a bit more detail. It also seemed our guys kind of blew their load in the first half and then when Nic went down with 4 fouls, it was kind of a burn out. Then with Russ going off, it's not surprising we didn't lose by more. And, again, our crowd was amazing.

We can beat Memphis, but we have to play "BIG" (inside out). We match up with them well somewhat similarly as we do with UConn. But I think it's going to be very difficult to beat them at their home. We'll see.

I think only ESPN games are on video archives-CBSCS needs to step it up
