Glad to see the Mustangs punch it in and Prescott get that TD.

Who woke us up or has Tech gone into June mode?

This loss was not on any one player. Had a couple of terrible calls by refs and absolutely no passion from coaching staff.

Pocono,

You realize that SMU has at most 20 players that Tech would have taken out of HS. Tech has at least 70 players SMU would have taken from HS. HUGE talent difference, especially with depth And I agree, Tech will most likely be a bottom tier Big12 team this season.[/quote]

I agree and follow the recruiting fairly close. We were solidly in this game with 8 minutes left and a game we could have won. My opinion is that we were simply out coached very badly on both sides of the ball. Our D simply did not blitz a frosh walk-on QB who needed pressure to make mistakes. We rushed 3 most of the game and game him little pressure allowing him to gain confidence and make his throws. On O we had a good game plan until the very end of the first half when coaching mistakes and GG hesitations cost us opportunities. In the second half Kingsbury simply called a much better and diversified game. Bottom line is that we were out coached on both side of the ball.

They are but not by much. I feel we are closing the gap but its been painstakingly slow and need new young energetic staff. Not easy

Yeah, Tech didn't look that much better than the Ponies for most of the game. If we notch the TD that was taken away from us by a [deleted] call, this could have been a different game.

good chance we start the season 0-4. And if JJ is back next year let's just cancel the season.

if we start 0-4, there won't be 10,000 people in Ford for all those eastern opponents coming in this year

at least maybe the powers that be will decide to finally make a change. You can't get people to watch a sub-par team in Dallas.

I'm so flipping sick of June's sideline face...every All-Access show I watch the coach acts like he prayed his entire life to coach where's he's at. June acts like it's his player's fault his offense and play calling sucks. I'm not renewing my FB tickets next year if he's still here. He's such a loser.
