And another 20 win season. Up there with the more elite programs. Nice.

Even at 35 on the boards? Bad Ponies.
6 steals for SMU to one. Good Ponies.
54% FT percentage. Bad Ponies.
Nice assist to turnover ratio of 18 to 7. Good Ponies, especially Sterling Brown (7:1).
22 Fouls and two foul out...Bad Coogs.
Both teams use just eight players and Adam Drexler gets into the game. Hmm.

SMU is the best free throw shooting team in the conference but they were just off tonight. Maybe took Houston too lightly. Anyway, survive and advance. SMU is in 1st place.

Especially Tayshawn Thomas at OU. And Joe Young at Oregon was the leading scorer two yrs ago.

It is always the backside three that gets us. Houston had open looks in the first half and wasn't hitting them. I think with our smaller guard rotation the guys are just getting tired. They also had to sag in a bit more tonight because Nic wasn't as quick as he normally is.
First half we went to a big lineup again with BM at the 3. I thought it looked pretty good. I would like to see it in the second half a little as well because it would give our guards a little breather and even out the rotation.

What I found interesting is that when UH went on their run and pulled within 4 and the home crowd was into it.... LB didn't cala TO. He let them play. Every other coach in America calls a To and bails his team out. Maybe LB is trying to get them to play under adversity.

I'll never question Larry, but I've always been perplexed by the way he uses his timeouts

lb never calls a to in those situations. at heart he is an nba coach and saves his tos for the end game.

Seems to be the case. I'm not a big NBA guy, but I had a friend say the same thing when I commented on it.

A lot of Dean Smith's tree doesn't call timeouts when opposing teams go on a run. LB uses them sparingly and Roy never uses them. Dean was few and far between as well
