We made some plays on defense-we held them to FGs after 1st Q-we stopped them on 1st, 2nd and 3rd downs in OT. I've seen SMU teams fold in that situation. They made a big play on the Road on 3rd down and the program took one step up by learning how to win on the road. That's really all we can ask the Defense to do-you win as a team not by looking at the one bad defensive series in 2nd Half

Friday night sets up as a possible repeat of the SMU/UTEP game a few years back when we got our 6th win for bowl eligibility. That was an exciting night.

It is past time for another Mustang Mania type media blitz and ticket giveaways to put more butts in seats at Ford. Missing ingredient Chad desperately needs to keep the momentum in recruiting

How are we [deleted] about the team right now. We got the win... ugly, pretty, average. Who gives a crap. Enjoy it for at least 12 hours. Geez. Believe me, I was complaining and had a fire VanMalone hashtag. Idc about that now, I care that we pulled through and we are 1 win away!

We should torch the grassy knoll in honor of your birthday.

Mayfield almost pulled a Hayden Moore-could have cost a BCS Bowl

I'm expecting more embarrassing views of the empty east side of Ford Stadium for the national TV audience. I always get comments from my friends and neighbors in this part of the country who follow SEC and ACC football

the one thing disappointing me is I can't believe we can't slip Proche deep over the middle while the focus is on Sutton/Quinn. I'm assuming most teams are playing 2 Deep and that's why we are throwing underneath
