I was at the game until halftime, I can honestly say that McNeal ran harder than any running back we have had in the last 10+ years. It was awesome to watch. He simply put his head down and ran hard

SMU did have 5 picks tonight and the run D will improve. Things could improve if the offense could help out a bit on the passing side of things.

I have to believe that we will play better at some point this season. At least we have a running back now.

I'll throw in one other point here: JJ won't exactly have to rewrite his playbook for McNeal. If McNeal remains a real threat, he'll help the passing game a lot by keeping the defense worried.

you gotta give props to the D. They played there butts off the entire game and they played a lot. For the first game of the year I am excited to see what this defense does this season

Maybe we will hear he was playing with the flu? There were some dropped balls, but too many "soft" throws tonight.

When is it time to quit making excuses for this poor example of QB and find his replacement?

BLM will be better than our other choices, no doubt.

BLM was simply awful. Awful, awful, awful. Radio said he was cramping. Immediate thought went to "menstrual." I don't want to hear about "drops." Most of the "drops" were by players reaching way back or laying out just to get fingertips on the ball.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I hate to say this, but I was sitting around some SFA fans tonight and even they made comments about how bad he was playing. One older gentleman mad the comment that he though he could throw the ball better than BLM after the threw a near interception almost immediately after his first INT
