I've never been to Cameron Indoor but Moody is almost an exact clone of it in the seating bowl. Are the distances not similar?

Was just curious without checking the other 25 pages of this thread. Excluding the high school prospects, and Margus Hunt, were there any other celebrities in the crowd?

He's been whining about this all night... we don't have to justify anything to him.

Nic's mom, grandmother, and myself really enjoyed both games. The Moody atmosphere was off the charts. I see no reason we don't do the same thing to Louisville. We're back in Indiana but I'll close with this. Ya'll really need to learn how to drive in snow. Scared me to death. lol

Zman, It is a demolition derby any time it snows. That's why the city shuts down on even the prediction of snow. I guess we just don't get enough practice at it which is ok by me.
I am glad y'all came and enjoyed the game. Seeing Nic being raised on the students shoulders after the game is one of the best things I have seen in my many years of watching SMU sports. Truly awesome.
Please pass along to Nic's family how much SMU fans appreciate Nic. I think I can speak for all SMU fans in saying that Nic is not only a great player to watch but a good leader and one polite young man. I had a chance to run into him last year while he was sitting out. He was so engaging and polite and I came away immensely impressed. You could tell how excited he was to get on the court and play for the school and Larry Brown. We are lucky he is representing our school on the court.

Thanks so much Treadway we are glad you guys like Nic. While he was in high school he would always make time for the little kids after every game win or lose. It was nice to actually see him do the same thing at SMU. We will be back for some games next year. Maybe we can meet some of the folks that post on ponyfans. Amen on the demolition derby. lol

I went to Cameron Indoor in 2002 as a 15 year old (and again in 2003) and it was by far and away the coolest place I have ever been to. It's deafening.

I haven't had the chance to meet him personally, but I second this. Everything I've seen on the court, in post game interviews, etc says that he is a solid all-around man who also happens to have serious skills and athleticism, and a very nice competitive streak.

One of my guests said she thought Moody was louder than Cameron on Saturday. Having been to Cameron a couple of times, I'm not sure that's true but if it wasn't louder it was certainly damn close.

At Cameron the students are across the court from the team benches

I sit in probably one of the loudest areas in moody (right next to the costume wearing students) and I had difficulty talking to the person right next to me. The atmosphere for this game was ridiculous and several notches higher than the Memphis or UCONN game. Can't imagine there are that many other basketball venues that get louder.

You could probably count them on one hand based on Saturday's game.

After Nic hit the big 3, Moody erupted. I didn't think it could possibly get louder…and then the Russell steal/dunk happened 20 seconds later. Woah. Moody was literally shaking every which way

Nic is the heart and soul of this team. I've never seen such confidence. Dude never gets shaken.
