Based on what I read and saw of him as a human being during his coaching days I had little appreciation of him. But he is a helluva good basketball broadcast analyst and doesnt come off as the overboard egotist one might expect. I think I have learned more about the game from listening to him than from all other sources combined. No BS or drama, just insight. It might be very interesting to hear what he has to say about LB's coaching.
You have to be kidding. Forget about his monotone drone. He spends excessive time critcizing individual players, and offers nothing other the telling them to "jump fake".
Not kidding. He was the third guy in the booth tonight, didn't add much, and obviously didn't put in any prep time, but overall I generally prefer his analysis to that of someone like Raftery who is mostly just a catch phrase guy.

It was us SMU fans. And we were spread all over the place, which made it even more impressive.
There were definitely New Yorkers around rooting for LB, but the real noise was Mustangs.
PS The Klempson band can go to hell -- never seen one band play so many times when it wasn't their turn.

On the tube is was Bobby Knight talking gibberish with SMU fans making noise in the background. Knight sucked but it was nothing but SMU chants coming through on TV.
We've officially found our way out as far as playing through adversity goes...this team has matured a lot since the NIT...the World better look out 2014-2015
after the team left the court, LB was about a minute behind all by himself. We started chanting Larry Brown, Larry Brown and he had the BIGGEST smile I've ever seen. he really knows how much we appreciate what he has accomplished.

You guys were awesome! For a few minutes there, I thought they were playing in Moody. Some GREAT "S.M.U" chants going. Hopefully it will be even louder on Thursday. Great work!!
