Tough week for our guys at Hilton Head. Looks like all have/will miss the cut. Kelly still has to finish tomorrow a.m. but he's 7 off the cut line with 8 to play.

Kelly fires a 2nd round 2 under 69 (best round of any of our guys) but not good enough as Kelly, Bryson & Colt all failed to make the cut this week at The Heritage.

Kelly had a decent week in New Orleans at The Zurich. He and partner Kevin Tway finished T-13th and earned $51,136 each. Bryson did not play this vent and Colt Knost teamed with Boo Weekly but failed to make the cut, although they may have lead the filed in calories consumed during their short week in New Orleans.

Kelly & Colt both at plus 2 after opening round of Wells Fargo here in Charlotte. Currently T-83rd with 20 other players but only 7 shots off the lead. Will need to have strong 2nd rounds if they want to stick around and earn a check this weekend

Strong 3rd round has Colt now at minus 5 and T-13th at the Wells Fargo. He's improved day over day and is currently 7 shots off the lead

Kelly & Colt playing the Nelson but not Bryson. Anyone know why he's not playing this week?

No - but it sure is irritating. The Byron Nelson gave him his first exemption, the course is his alma mater's home course and he doesn't even play it (yet).

Would be a nice gesture of him to remember it, like Jordan does. Of course ATT might have a little say in Jordan!

The goal of the great golfer is to win majors. Beth Page Black is a challenging course and if a player wants to win there, he needs to be prepared.

The Nelson has always been placed in a bad time to draw all the major players. Some use it as a warm up, but many pass.

I would love to see Bryson every week, as I would love to see Tiger every week. But the elites do not tend to play in the events that do not best suit them for their goals. Phil is one that tends to show up prior to majors as a warm up but he is the exception of the top ranked players.

I almost think the Byron Nelson would do better as a Fall Series event.

Both Kelly and Colt miss the cut at plus 2. Disappointing week for our guys.
