They look unbeatable tonight. They are good. But I agree with you.PonyFan32 wrote:I think we have a legit chance against them at home

I find that to be common with many teams. One Trick Pony wrote:Will lose by 10 to Wichita at home. They've just got different people than we do.

Moody's not the old / new Moody. Different fan alignment different mob alignment and students. I knowPony_Law wrote:WSU is a good team, but moody is a seriously tough place to Play. Definetly have a good chance to win against any team In the country at moody. Watching this game, it’s clear WSU have a lot g good individual defenders and Houston reverts to playing a lot of 1 on 1 when you punch them in. The mouth

Seeing the temple crowd and Tulane crowd + Tulsa last night is flat out embarrassing for the conference
Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC games
It is definitely embarrassing, but I wouldn't limit it to the AAC. Checked out a game at UT or Okie State lately? On the flip side, Wichita crowd last night was exceptional.Pony ^ wrote:Seeing the temple crowd and Tulane crowd + Tulsa last night is flat out embarrassing for the conference

Temple wasn't too bad. Seemed like a decent crowd (1/2 full?) but boy they seem a bit jinxed right now. Close losses but to decent teams.
WSU played like a Final Four team. If they play like they did against OU, which wasn't too bad, they can lose at Moody. Need a rocking crowd that night!
I liked how UH kept fighting but the WSU game was like SMU's second half vs. USF. Unstoppable.

Temple crowd could be somewhat weather related. I’ve been to a number of SMU games at BOTH Temple and Tulane. The Liacouras (Temple) venue gets pretty rowdy at times. As for Tulane: I can’t imagine that place packed and jamming... never has been.... but I have a feeling it’s coming. I think Dunleavy does for them what LB did for us.Pony ^ wrote:Seeing the temple crowd and Tulane crowd + Tulsa last night is flat out embarrassing for the conference

Never seen such a sparse crowd for a Uconn home game.

A solid week of wind chills below zero and a lousy team will do that.ReedFrawg wrote:Never seen such a sparse crowd for a Uconn home game.

Looks like Memphis get first AAC win at home. Tulsa gets first loss.
