After watching both teams live yesterday, I can assure you that UK will not beat UK today (I am headed down there today too).

UK is long and athletic EVERYWHERE, but they run literally zero offensive sets. If the first option on the post is denied, their o devolves into one on one hero ball with one of the Harrison twins driving or Randle putting his head down and driving like a mack truck. They also don't shoot the ball from 3 well outside of James Young.

If we do play them, we need to pack the paint and force the Harrison twins to hit mid-range shots / 3s.

Which UK should I pull for :D

SA would be great. I'm 99% in if it's in SA.

I am definitely thinking that the tournament committee will have us playing either Kentucky in the first round or Kansas in the second round. Due to LB's coaching tree. A Kentucky Matchup would really provide media attention. Could be really great media exposure for our program. We are capable of beating Kentucky and Kansas on a good day. Anything can happen in the tournament! It is put up or shut up time. Win and advance. Pony Up!

How accurate is lunardi's projections? I don't know if I have ever watched it this closely so no clue if he is really in the know or not

Not that it matters, but Bleacher Report (?) has SMU as the last team in, playing Xavier in round 1 with the winner getting Ohio State.

Kentucky is playing much better than a 6-seed at the moment.

It would be a total [deleted] draw for SMU...as would be the team that draws Ok Lite at a 8/9.

Didn't say it was good or accurate, just throwing it out there.
