There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a sunshiner. Sunshiners usually make my day with their posts. But please don't equate that with being a fan. I am not a sunshiner, but I am definitely a fan of SMU athletics.
I see the purpose of boards like this for fans to carry on dialog about their teams... both the good and bad aspects. Unfortunately, right now, the bad aspects of SMU football far outweigh the good.
And btw, I had no idea that dude was a parent of a player--not that it would've made any difference if I did. I didn't slight his kid or anybody else's. I made an observation regarding the quality of the TEAM based on the record. Besides, he took it well, why can't you?
