SMU 38
SHSU 27
31-27, SHSU driving for the go-ahead score, when SHSU turns it over & SMU scores a late one. Or better still, not unlike last year's Sun Bowl, SHSU makes it 31-27, then lines up for an onside kick & SMU recovers & runs it back.

Record of I-A teams against I-AA teams is 87%. If you eliminate schools that had just transitioned to I-A from I-AA from the I-A losses, it is even higher.
That is true. Wanna replay aTm vs. TexState last year?

Jtstang will be there a little early. That is how he always gets a good seat.

If only that were true, our attendance problems would be fixed...

I just meant to get mine, not to get any seat. Other seats are available readily and even more in the 2nd half than the first.

Ain't it sad? Trust me, it'll be even worse playing a d-2 team.

"Texas state played a better game against A&M then SMU......"
the texas state game was on a thursday moved up from saturday due to the hurricane about to hit the texas coast... it was played in bad weather and for anybody who watched both games.... Reggie McNeal played bad and had a lot of mistakes (due to him being a terrible qb, not because of TS)... i know its biased but I thought SMU looked a lot better then TS against A&M although we let the game get out of hand

I heard aTm's d-line had the stomach flu in there somewhere around the katrina/rita fiasco. I definitely think had we not given up at halftime, we would've fared better than we did.

Well now that speaks volumes about this team, doesn't it?

Educate yourself. Sam Houston is a Div. 1-AA school, not Division II.

I saw both games and I think SMU looked like the the Division II team. (I just love [deleted] off MM65)

They went 4-6 or 3-7 last season however.

Look for SMU to beat SHSU much like we did Cal-St Northridge during the Cave-in era!
