The rebounding edge was nice, 42-30, however we had 21 turnovers and shot 2-11 from three-point range! Need to play smarter to have a chance against UAB tomorrow...

Nice Win!
21 Turnovers and Hopkins doesnt score. Who would have thought we could win with that line?
Rack and Pearson were huge...15 points a piece and tough rebounding. Nice assists by Hopkins and Killen had a good game. He knocked down some key shots.
Nice clutch FTs by Willingham as well to ice it.
Great win...Look forward to tomorrow.

I have to say I am happy with the program at this moment, we have improved our performance in the conference tournament from the previous multiple years of one and done.....we made it to day two.

Amazing what a few assists can do for a team. And a huge rebounding edge. But we've got to cut down on the turnovers if we want to have any chance at all.

I guess they realize the next week is for any marbles there are, so they might as well go all out. I'm glad to see a strong effort. The rest of the way gets real tough. But if we can upset UAB, we get the 3 seed in the semis instead of Memphis. Lets kick some Blazer tail.

Expect UAB to bring a ton of fans. A win over SMU will pretty get them in the tournament if they aren't in already. If any SMU fan can make it to the game, then I would recommend you go. How did we win with Hopkins? I like that he got 6 assists but SMU will have trouble scoring versus UAB so BHOP will have to step it up. If we win this game I think we will beat Utep.

Rice does suck but this hasn't happened all season with everyone contributing except Hopkins. Rack -15pts, Pearson (Game MVP?) - 15pts, Killen 8pts, Roberts 9pts. Hopkins - ZERO?
