Should we even show him the real estate around SMU? See how that stacks up to the Coog High bungalows.

I'm glad you appreciate the beauty. I know I do.

And FYI, you were the one asking the questions about 3rd Ward.

As far as running up the score:

Honestly, Houston coach Jack Pardee probably wanted to do everything he could to hold the score down. SMU coach Forrest Gregg and Pardee are longtime friends and Gregg, as coach of the Green Bay Packers, helped Pardee get a job as a scout.

Pardee and offensive coordinator John Jenkins were like Roman emperors watching the Christians fight the Cougars. They chose to find ways not to run up the score. Houston slowed down its no-huddle offense and allowed the Mustangs to change personnel on defense. The Cougars started playing their second and third string defense as early as the second quarter and never blitzed.

One last dig...cause you asked for it...

Since the coogs joined the SWC - UH won or tied for the conference championship 4 times. SMU...3 times. Hang that.[/quote]

I like how the response is with a qualifier, "since such and such happened...

That's great that you look at the body of work of Cougar High.

We'll look at the body of work for SMU.

I was there. Hiding my head. Didn't know if it was going to spill over from the field to the stands. Never hated a siren so much in my life. But I loved '92 when we got our revenge.

Boy, you guys are like the girl that got cheated on and turned into a lezbian man-hater. Just can't let go can you?

I will forgive Cougar High for 95-21.

I don't remember asking for your forgiveness... so keep it. Hell, given the opportunity, we'd do it to you again, and again, and again.

This response pretty much defines what we're going to see on the east side of Ford Stadium this week.
