BLOG: "I can't tell you how many jokes I have gotten since I sent an e-mail around the office. Worst part is, I only have the power to fire two of the worst offenders."

My answer to that is I am giving them to people for free and I don't tell them how I came into possession of them, thus no jokes (about the price at least).

Too true... that's a good way to do it.... because then if you have all ten spoken for and one Johnny-Come-Lately asks if you have anymore you can say - "Sorry no, but if you follow this link you can get them for a buck."

Who do we talk to about getting this for every game? I know that I can get more than just my usual takers to the game every week if I will give them tickets, even if they are at 1 dollar.
The donkey's name is Kiki.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

yes, you hit the nail on the head for me. What $1 ticket deal are you talking about?

If this was some promotion by this board, it wasn't made clear to me.

someone please explain?

There was a promotion in the last few days before the Tulsa game where fans who went through a link on this site were able to pick up extra tickets for yesterday's game, in order to get extra folks in the seats for the last home game. As I see it, anything that gets extra PonyFans into the stadium is a good thing. Wish it had been announced a little earlier, to increase the response, but any extra fans are worth it. Well done by SMU and PonyFans.com. All the naysayers who joked about the team or the interest in the game missed a great one!

A lot of 'horn fans were at the game because of the promotion. Thanks for being there, fellas. The ones I spoke with had a great time and all said they would be back for games next year.

There were quite a few burnt orange t-shirts and ballcaps there yesterday, weren't there? I told a few of them that I was glad to see them there and that I was pleased to see that they were no longer being influenced by 'the dark side of The Force'.

I'd say good, because that is likely 302 tickets that would never have been sold at full price. The people who bought those were mostly people who already have tickets and gave the $1 tickets away to people who would not have come otherwise.
