Bobby Knight and/or his son.

Not Bobby Knight.

Despite all his craziness and volatileness, his value system (doing the right thing) wouldn't permit it. He owes TT and wouldn't dump them (unlike Huggins, ala KSU).

Regardless, they have been talking. UA is also going back to Calapari now that Kentucky is done. Doc Sadler at Nebraska and Sidney Montcrief.

Replacing Stan Heath with Doc Sadler would be a lateral move at best...

I'll throw a name out that would be more suitable: Quin Snyder.

Snyder is an interesting idea, and I don't think he's without coaching ability. But I would bet he's got to re-surface somewhere at a mid-major level before a place like Arkansas takes a flier on him.

Going back to the post yesterday about a Razorback Foundation plane being in Dallas. Rumor is there were UA folks meeting with Jerry Jones and some other UA fat cats to round up enough money to throw at Calapari. Apparently he is their top pick right now.

espn.com says they're going with former UK player & now coach at South Alabama Pelphrey, who on first glance seems like a notch below Gillespie, Calipari, Altman and maybe even Heath

pelphrey is gonna look like a hero when he wins 25 games next year with a loaded hogs team.

If he can keep all of the hogs in the pen, you are exactly right. What he does after that will be the question.
