it's based on the report of an SMU student on the message board today-its been a rumor since a Tech fan claimed he had a definite unimpreachable contact which told him 6 months ago that he was going to community college but had committed to Phil Bennett.

As I understood the story, Odiari was out one night and a girl who had a restraining order on him (for some stupid reason) showed up and wouldn't leave. Odiari was then tagged with a stalker problem because she showed up second and wouldn't leave when asked.
That's just the way I remember being told the story -- wouldn't bet the farm on my memory recall.

That is one way to improve our defense. We just need a couple more juco's on that side of the ball, namely MLB and DT, and we could see some major improvement.

We signed a thug!!!!! Restraining order from girlfriend!!!!! Great days are here!!! Don't tell Insane Pony Posse, though, he'll be upset that we're trying to fill up the UP jail.

I for one think it's great we give this guy a second chance to play D1 ball. A few thoughts:
1. Who DIDN'T have a fake ID when they were in college, or HS for that matter?
2. Regarding the stalking comments, should I include links to the threads where we had our own little clandestine stalking operations in pace trying to find out if JJ was coming to SMU?
Either way, JJ seems to have a history of getting the most out of kids who have had unfortunate run-ins with law enforcement as young college kids. I don't think we have anything to worry about, and I can't wait til officially enrolls.

Pardon my exuberance. Getting a soft commitment from a thug is still a great accomplishment. Although are thugs inherently more likely to back out of their commitments than non-thugs?
