Unfortunately for you Riley Dodge can't sign a scholarship until the first week in February 2008. If SMU gets a new coach he will be in place by January 1. Riley's commitment will have zero affect if his father goes elsewhere. Another Coach to leave after 1 year. David McWilliams left Tech for UT after a year. Matt Doherty left his former school after a year. In each case it was simply a financial/facilities/tradition issue which we all know you can't match. Thanks for the audition and I hope NTSU wins out.

Laugh all you want when I say this, but Todd Dodge will honor his contract with North Texas. You see, Todds' roots come from hardworking, bluecollar, SE Texas, where a man's handshake is his word. Since there's a contract involved, that's even better. If/when Todd leaves it will be to a much higher profile program than SMU. Do you really think a coach with Dodge's character would make a lateral move(at best) to a program with such a tainted past like SMU? Get real!

lateral? what winning tradition do you have? what facilities do you have? what education can you offer? all of these things add up to getting recruits... but PB will be here next year so keep dodge
JT was right; Soilint has patheticaly weak smack. I guess it is hard to talk trash after losing and your all your dreams are smashed. I feel pity for you not sorrow.

What winning tradition does SMU have? A 6-6 record over the last 20+ years makes for a winning tradition?

we have the pony express... they are unsure what their mascot is: an eagle or a not very nice color
