Whoever the new coach may be I wouldn't be against putting money on that speculation. Look at Orsini hiring Doh while he was still the athletic director at UCF.... of course that was out in the open, but still my point is - it's not too hard for him to say, "Go back to the Pony Express unis... show me some samples..... I like this one."

Well, I say that all the people who glorify the Pony Express days get to pick, because that has been so good for us to this point. I mean all the national championships and Heisman trophies won during that era were worth every bit of perpetual putridity that we have had for the last 20 years.

So by all means lets pump up and model it all after those days. Hell, someone call Bill Clements and tell him we're firing it back up!!

I prefer blue. There is no dominant color blue school in Texas. Closest is I can think of is Kansas.

That was last year. This year they changed helmets again and eliminated the yellow.

They took the yellow off this year. It was a graham thing (they aren't bitter). And Rice's blue is almost black.
