If they did and did not take the offer they were incredibly stupid. C'mon 91 you are not talking to one of your frat buddies. Keep it real!
Uhhh...just a little refresher here Bigdaddy...SMU was in the SWC in the late 80s and early 90s.

PK, I know that. You have to learn how to read ebonics before you reply to my post. OK, I will try again. If we had any players with offers from any SWC school other than SMU and they did not take it, they were incredibly stupid. And if we had players on our squad that had offers to any of these other schools in the late 80's and in the 90's, we would not be having half the discussions we are having today about how bad we were and are.

I have a better idea...you learn to use english instead of ebonics...less chance of your being misunderstood.

If he isn't willing to learn English, we may have to use this to understand his posts: http://www.writtenhumor.com/ebonics.html

Call me what you want. Just keep reading the truth. You want me to believe that you were offered from other SWC schools during our post DP days and you did not take it. You are an idiot. Don't use the SMU is a great education thing. Coming out of HS you were like any other HS kid. Thought you were the [deleted] and could play anywhere. But you played at SMU. That is great, just keep it real.

I'm not fighting for anyone. I'm just trying to offer a tool that might make your posts a little easier to understand.

All I'm going to say is we probably signed about 3-5 decent recruits in Years 1-5 back from the Death Penalty. There were a few, Remember Michael Artmore wait I'm trying to remember a second one. But remember we did have the prestige of the SWC in those days and the invasion of the Big 8 wasn't as pronounced.

Nan-in, a Japanese master during the Meiji era, received a university professor who came to inquire about Zen.

Nan-in served tea. He poured his visitor's cup full, and then kept on pouring.

The professor watched the overflow until he no longer could restrain himself. "It is overfull. No more will go in!"

"Like this cup," Nan-in said, "you are full of your own opinions and speculations. How can I show you Zen unless you first empty your cup?"

You just hate it because you sucked! Don't blame me. I was cheering for you anyway, but don't try and act like you could have played anywhere other than SMU. Keep it real. We need to get it real and keep it real. All the fakers and shakers need to take their so called loyalty somewhere else. You are undermining the progress of the program. You even got your girlfriend hating on me.

how about Cornell Parker- I think he was somewhat highly recruited. Cary Brabham came from a small school but I think he had some options.
