Winston Gamso To Walk-On

You guys making a judgment based on isolated film clips are missing the boat. If you ever watched Gamso handle a game, you'd realize one thing - He ain't nothing but a winner! Total control of the offense, great leadership and makes the right decisions. (How many QBs have we seen with great physical talents, but short on the mental stuff?). He'll be perfect for JJ's system. By the way - if you apply the NCAA QB rating system to Gamso's stats, he rates out much higher than Colt Brennan.

I saw Gamso play in the state semifinals against Everman on the COLDEST, WINDIEST day imaginable at Mesquite Memorial Stadium....and this guy was seemingly unfazed by the conditions.

I guarantee if Gamso were a high school junior, he'd be one of the top recruited QBs in the country.

Not to take anything away from our recruits, but I'm more excited about this guy coming here than any of the others....I think he has more upside than all the other QB recruits.
