"Played" would not be correct. I was on the team as a linebacker, however, until injured, and then I coached the redshirts. We only hung with the wishbone one year actually (1970?). In another year we let them set all kinds of records. I think it was 1968 when they had Roosevelt Leaks.

Ahhh, at least I remembered the name and the position right. I think it was the game I went to in 72 or 73. It ended up real close and everyone on the defense was bloodied up and hurting after that game. Extremely hard hitting. You have to forgive me, I have killed a lot of brain cells since then so my memory isn't what it used to be.
