Yeah I don't think comparisons to Dickerson or James are really appropriate. But I do think from what I know and saw on his video that he is definitely one of the top DT recruits we've had in about 25 years. You got to remember that Craig James gathered all the Press from across the State after leading his team to a Texas 5A Championship and 5A MVP to announce immediately after the game that he was shockingly-going to SMU of all places. Every story across the State ran with that story. Dickerson was the consensus No. 1 Football player in the Country. Another important recruit was Mike Ford because he was the First Team Dave Cambell's Texas Football All-State QB-although he had a disappointing senior year. But this is a damn good start. I have a feeling that a Pied Piper Recruit in this offense would likely be a QB-one that probably realizes that June Jones is his ticket to the NFL.
Momentum for a recruiting class can also be garned by getting say 4-5 early top commitments-that's exactly what TCU did last year by the end of March. We finally have got the plan, preparation, model and are going after top recruits-finally. We'll probably get turned down by a lot of them but we're at least in the ballgame. My feeling is that a pretty fair number of these kids are giving SMU a close look-that's where the preparation and extra year with the recruits appears to be paying off.

The Texas A&M rivals site top 100.
Thanks. I think this might be the link.

Keep your eye on # 8 & #94 on the list. They are from 1A Cayuga.
Also, #8's cousin is on the basketball recruiting list for us & he is also from Cayuga. Last year TCU signed 3 dudes from 1A Maud.
Hopefully we can follow that act.
Also, Its been along time since I have seen SMU showing up on this many top 100's list. At least 10.
At this stage of our program, anytime we can get a top 100 recruit, it is huge. Especially on the D side of the ball.

Corp will you go tell Fiesty to mark him off his TCU list because
TCU can't have him. This kid moves pretty damn good for a huge
kid. I think we'll take him.
Stallion, I respect your opinion and if you feel he is the real deal...
then he must be a keeper. As for Feisty, he's like a bird dog, he
will relentlessly hunt 'em down.
