Come on Leslee! You can be a star here. Great facilities, education, and climate. Not to mention a great PG in McCoy feeding you the ball. Everything is first class at SMU during and after school. Quinton Ross will be starting for the Mavericks tonight against the Wizards. He graduated from SMU a couple of years ago.

Nice counter by WKU offering Peters & Anyigbo today. The 3 of them, all from Houston, visited WKU a couple of weekends ago.

I saw that....is the 6'6 Anyigbo a PF as well? Do we think that would affect Leslee's decsion maybe.......maybe huh? ....would be good...but I would guess not. Sounds like pretty good momentum on their part. C'mon Leslee be a stud here in Dallas....

He should know it's far better to be on the Hilltop than to be a Hilltopper.

Where are the camera crews? What time is the press conference? What was the over/under on time of this extremely overdramatized process?
Some of these kids are such DQs.
Can't wait for the, "Well, I chose xxxx because their coaching staff made me feel like family. And they have good academics'' quote.
Snore! Snore! Snore!

"Hey gang, just an FYI about Humble (Texas) Christian Life Center Academy power forward Leslee Smith.
Smith is allegedly supposed to make his commitment announcement at some point this afternoon. And as I said earlier in the week, it’s down to SMU and Western Kentucky.
Allkyhoops.com reported earlier today that Smith should have his decision made after practice at some point today.
So as soon as I know something, I’ll pass it along."

He's been on two OVs, very under-publicized nationally, in back-to-back weeks. He's spoken to WKU & SMU media twice in 4 months. Stop being such a cynic, he's confused about a big decision, and has a limited frame of reference when it comes to college hoops and universities. This has been a short, succinct process, not some media circus w/shoe companies and handlers.

Then he should wait and announce when he's ready. You know as well as I do that these kids get the pressure to decide and then they counter by giving a date on when they will announce. That isn't good either.
I want him to come here but I want him to be because we did a good job and he took the time to weigh everything fairly. Maybe two days was enough. Maybe they weren't looks like an interesting player who could diversify things here. Plus his background should give him a competitive edge wherever he goes.

How do we become Top 25 when we are barely able to compete for the interest of the #87 PF????

kid is a 4 star player if he waits till Spring. He's been in the country a year, and has barely been evaluated by the services. Top 3 or 4 player in Houston, w/two high major offers already. Spare me the #87 PF nonsense.
