CoC is a good program under Cremins. Last night was a very good game. We had our opportunities, no doubt about it. Even though we lost, it's the best I've felt about the team this year. That's a non conference game I'd love to see every year.

At some point, the elephant in the room is McCoy. Where the hell is the kid? He was a preseason all league selection, and he's barely giving valuable minutes, much less being our go-to guy.

Gotta beat Northeastern & Nevada!

I have no morals, and thus this victory means nothing to me

naw, I don't believe in moral victories. Just saying the team looked like a team last night. They basically looked better losing then they have looked in most all of their wins. Seems to me the CoC types are a good level of comp for them right now. Not sure what that means come CUSA, but the conference feels up

Nice watching it after a good nights sleep.

Good seeing Mestengo and other Mustang fans in HD.

Feel for the guys. We have got to start winning these games. Ref missed the travel but we might have celebrated a little early and forgot to get back on D.

He travelled, but Faye could have been a difference-maker there. Watch him trail the ball ever so slightly and just watched. If he was in the moment and going hard, he puts that junk in the front row. McCoy was defending the ball, so I understand him not wanting to body the guy. I don't know if we had a t.o or not, but if we did, I may have used it to set the D.

Have to beat Northeastern, Army, Texas St, & NC Central and get one or two of UTEP, Tulsa, UAB in out next 7. No idea if that's possible.

About to re-watch the game. See what my non-hazy 3am impressions are

Another tough L.
Just like Tulsa a couple of years ago,
doh doesn't call a t o after the go ahead bucket
with 6 seconds left. An option that should
have been taken .

Questionable calls on Haynes in the 2nd half
takes him out of the game.
Non walking call at the end was a heart breaker.

2nd game I've seen this season where Papa
could have gone huge & the team doesn't take
advantage of it.

The team plays well & still finds a way 2 lose

radio guys said Doh was trying to get the TO but Cremins guys were out of TOs and were quick to get the ball in and up the floor after we scored to take the lead.

Having lived in Charleston since 1993 now, I can tell you that losing to C of C is nothing to be ashamed of. They've beaten plenty of the big boys through the years and have had several NCAA and post season appearances; seems they win 20 games MOST years. I've been thinking our talent is very evenly matched and looked forward to this matchup. It was everything I hoped it would be, except for the outcome.

TCU played in Charleston's tourney last year. Hope we get invited next year (late November). For those who have never been here, it's a fun place to visit.

We absolutely need to take care of Northeastern and then play well in that 1st stretch of games back home. Right now, it looks like we will be a bottom feeder in CUSA but this looks like the kind of year that 5-6 teams could be in the running for our automatic bid. Whoever is hot come tourney time could take it all this year.

Tough one. Hate to lose - It was a fun though.
Doh's record for winning close games is awful.
They made some 3's - that was tge difference.
Haynes needs major minutes from here out.
Rodney showed something too.

CofC is always decent but we find a way to lay down and lose to anybody with half a pulse. CofC was a very average squad, very average. Doh has no idea how to stand up for his team. He should have been ripping those refs for those 3 calls on haynes that robbed our momentum. Maybe then they call a travel at the end. McCoys air balls were painful. Like someone said, we find that Papa can dominate down low and then we pull him out and totally forget about getting the ball to the post. This program is not getting it done in any way shape or form. You wanna turn the tide? Just gotta win games like this in year 4 of a coach's tenure. And it was more of a home game for us than Charleston with our band and supporters in the house.

Basically, if last night is what this team looks like the rest of the year, we'll win our share. It's those other outings that have worried me.

paging Paul McCoy, come in Paul. Where are you? We can't win w/o you.

I thought the team looked much better last night. However, the outside shooting is dreadful. When we miss, we miss bad. We were dominating inside and should have done more to exploit the mismatches in the paint than jacking up threes that don't even hit the rim!
