Maybe this is why SMU shouldn't be allowed to have nice things...because we go and do really stupid crap like this, and then publicize it. Why should the outside world take us seriously?

I'm just really confused over what is going to happen to the horses once June leaves/retires.

I don't mind having two additional horses and appreciate the Pickens generosity and their campaign to save the mustangs. I just don't get the cowboys riding the horses. Get rid of those two clowns. We are not the cowboys!

Liberty and Justice? - These were the names selected by the football team!? I highly doubt that.

Run & Shoot would be my choice.

But Peruna is and will always be my mascot.

Do we even know if Peruna is coming back? I could see SMU trying to pull crap like that. Peruna and the handlers show up for the first game and they don't have the right "credentials".

If it's handled similarly to the Hawaii Bowl, then it's not a big deal. They ran out, then chewed their curds and weigh in the corner. Why does this embarrass people so much? It's not like other schools don't get a kick out of making fun of Peruna already (God bless him). These half-boys are like security guards.
