Curious but too lazy to pull up last season's preseason predictions, to see how many were even close.

I tried and it's the OOC schedule. Is there am '09 prediction thread in there somewhere?

I've said along 6-6 or 7-5. If we get lucky then 8-4.

Regular Season:
6-6

ps: Another Prediction: the doom & gloom platoon will be out big-time in Sept as that could be a "rough month". also we will hear a hysterical "sky is falling we are going backwards" as we go through a 6-6 regular season.

pss: I hope I am wrong on both predictions!

psss: welcome back General!

It depends:

If we have a perfect season, 12-0

If we are upset, say by TTU or TCU, then 11-1

If we are upset and have an off week against a good team, 10-2

If we have a an injuries but not a key player 9-3

If we have a few injuries and one is a key player is out, 8-4

If we have key injuries and a significant player is out and we have a key mental mistake (say blown coverage )in a close game, 7-5

If we have a few injuries, a key player included and another key player pulls a UT and gets arrested and we have a major mental error, 6-6

If we lose the entire defensive line to injuries, arrest or love sickness, and one key player on offense goes down, 5-7

If we have major injuries and lose our kicker and make multiple mental mistakes and JJ breaks his leg and misses one key game, 4-8

If we have major injuries, mental errors, multiple BLM moments lose our kicker and JJ for one key game and the scout team goes to seed, 3-9

If we have major injuries, multiple arrest, JJ and two assistants out for a key game, the scout team gives up, BLM moments become the norm again and mental errors, 2-10

If we have major injuries, multiple arrest, lose our kicker, loss JJ and two assistants, commit major mental errors, BLM moments become the norm , scout team gives up and we get that old losing spirit back, 1-11

If all the above happens and we have one game with CUSA officials making their usual crummy calls, 0-12.
