Re: Kicking Game
Well Loftus has been here...a while. He was a gray shirt, and then he spent a season as a redshirt, so he's had plenty time to develop, and he was a unanimous Top 10 kicking prospect from Scout, ESPN, and Chris Sailer. Rivals had him ranked at 17. Not asking for All American status as a RS-FR, but if it is indeed as bad as all indications point to, I wouldn't hold my breath.
Re: Kicking Game
To me the hardest thing in rating a kicker or punter is how do you scout desire and heart. Most have very few attempts in a game and so not much on film. I've seen film of guys kicking into the endzone frequently and choke when the FG or punt was important. I have seen only a couple K/P that actually looked like they had been in the gym or weight room. They don't need to be Mr America, but it would show me something. How are they under pressure?

He was poking around on DMN comments a few times. Haven't seen him on Rivals in a while. Maybe his mustang addiction faded out.

Re: Kicking Game
This is pure speculation. I have absolutely no firsthand information.
BUT.....
I would imagine that getting a foreign citizen admitted, enrolled, and on campus requires a bit more paperwork than normal. Glancing at his Facebook page, it looks like he is still on track to be a Mustang soon. PP, you must have something for us, right? Please?

He is unfortunately not going to make it into SMU. Dead deal and not a rumor.

Kicking Game
How did the coaching staff not know before this summer that our kicker can't kick? Is this a startling new development? Could he kick last year and all of the sudden forget how?
It's incredible that with all the "connected" people on here, I still can't seem to get a straight answer to this other than the fact that he can't kick.
