I have been waiting for you (sand bagger) to show up, you being out on Padron's limb. I knew you would be an apologist. You were very quick to criticize Bo Levi Mitchel who showed class and supported his teammates through the end of the season and then made a personal career choice to leave with his coaches blessing. You further criticize his success success after his National Championship MVP performance. You appear to me a hypocrite.
Now you are the Apologist for a player who left the Team while they were under going the humilation and scrutiny of the Students singing the school song, not to mention the 90,000 TAMU fans who reveled in the spectacle. Some may interpret Padron's absence as a sign of quitting the team.
As far as your concern on how Padron responds the rest of the week and your total lack of recognition of the fact that it will be how June Jones and the TEAM that sticks together reacts is my question to you...
I believe Jones is a fair man and will support the quarterback who performed the best against TAMU.
Ha! Well if you can discern all of that based upon that brief comment then I guess my vacation is over. Some of you make me laugh my [deleted] off. There is no reason to try to mention my name ever time you want to make a point about Football.

My opinion is based on your previous testimony councilor. You the great pontificator seem to be at a loss of argument... Laugh while you look in the mirror, then suck it up and tell us how Padron is going to lead this TEAM instead of conveniently hiding all last week as if the Net went down. Has it occurred to you Padron may find it very hard to stay at SMU and your hard line on quitters attitude will be on the table?
I hope for Padron's sake he deals with this unfortunate situation he is in and re-joins the Team, he is still just a young kid and student but he has had every opportunity and now McDermot seems to have proven certain abilities which I think and I hope Jones see's and give him a chance to achieve that which he has worked hard for as well.
I haven't even taken a position on whether Jones should have benched Padron or who should start next week. You seem to have a hard-on about Bo Levi Mitchell-you are probably that irritating cousin that was on the board. I was against Mitchell being given the job as a true freshman but I wasn't in the group celebrating his transfer. I said I hoped he stayed and could make a contribution as he developed. I believe in developing and playing experienced upperclassman-not throwing the next in a long succession of Great White Hopes every year.

KP had a bad game, I suspect more than a few Aggie taunters were laying into him. He probably needed to just get off the field and get a time to chill. JJ did the right thing to pull him early. He threw two terrible picks. One into double coverage, the second he missed his target by about 20 yards. Too amped up. Lay off the Red Bull, Kyle.
I believe June pulled Padron for a series or two last year to calm him down last year. Tulane game, maybe?
In the Houston Chronicle it said that June was planning on just doing that, but then McD was playing good and he felt he was the way to go. I'm sure June had his fair share of QB issues in Hawaii. I'm not worried about it right now. I'm sure June knows what buttons to push on what QB. Am I pissed that we laid a big egg on national tv while trying to pretend a BCS conf should pick us up....... yes. But I'm not worried yet. Beat UTEP.

Have you had enough time to analyse the Padron situation, your post count is slipping..
I am dying to hear your views on Padron and his leaving the team after the game and today not commenting after Jones went on the record with McDermot this morning. Personally all Padron had to do was stick with the team after the game, sing or not, and own up to media with his shortcomings which we all have of one type or another, go to practice and be a team player and when confronted back the coaches decision and support his teammate and indicate his determination to excel. One and out..

Regarding my Bo Levi Mitchel problem... I think SMU students and fans should be compassionate and give credit where credit is due. You claim not to have wanted Bo to leave and I believe you and agree. He did not throw any tantrums or go and hide when the going got rough for him as I understand it did on this board. Then when I, without knowledge posted what I thought was a good story about a one time SMU player who did good... You Sir led the charge of Hate of all Quitters and Bo Levi Mitchel in particular. You could have kept your mouth shut but you took the lead. I took it as an attempt to control the group think and me personally.
I'll get off your back if you apologise for the comments you made of me being a Cousin of Bo in your attempt to demonize me...[/color]
