Count me among those who just don't care anymore. It's Jones's toy to break if he wants to.

Big 12 Football Teams as Dunder Mifflin Employees
http://www.everydayshouldbesaturday.com/2011/9/23/2445260/big-12-football-teams-as-dunder-mifflin-employees
"I tweeted today that Robert California from The Office should talk his way into becoming the new Big 12 commissioner. This was a random thought, of which I have far too many. From there, I wondered which Big 12 teams would be on his "winners" and "losers" lists. This led one of my followers to suggest a column about the Big 12 Teams as Dunder Mifflin employees, which was something I found simultaneously ridiculous and incapable of leaving my mind. So here it is:
Iowa State ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ Creed Bratton. Creed often operates in the background at Dunder Mifflin, much like the Cyclones do in the Big 12. Sometimes you completely forget that they exist. Both Creed and Iowa State are good for a laugh a few times per season. On the few occasions you do get a peek inside Creed’s psyche, you realize how creepy he is. He’s almost as creepy as the original Cy-Hawk Trophy, which was somehow enough of an incentive for Iowa State to push past a seemingly-better Iowa team in the annual rivalry game this year.
Kansas ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ Kevin Malone. Kevin seems a bit slow and no one is really sure what’s wrong with him, making him the perfect analogy for the Jayhawks. Plus, bonus points because they both start with K. Another word that starts with K is ketchup, which is Kevin’s favorite vegetable. Probably."....

Wasn't meant to hurt. Denial is a sticky perfume. Glad you changed.

@BlairKerkhoff: Chuck Neinas said conference would be open to expansion in Texas.

Big 12's Chuck Neinas, after talking Saturday about opposition to league expansion in Texas, indicated today that sentiment had changed.

In that case, the Big 12 would potentially add TCU to the South Division and Louisville, Cincinnati and W. Virginia to the North.

Re: T. Boone Pickens tweets expansion thoughts and SMU
That's not a bad conference at all. We really need to hope for a MWC/CUSA merger...
Re: T. Boone Pickens tweets expansion thoughts and SMU
Our best chance for the Big 12 is if they decide to go to 16 teams at a later date. Gives us some time to keep building the program to become a viable candidate. Would feel even better if Missouri left to the SEC and the Big 12 stays together and goes to 16.

Re: T. Boone Pickens tweets expansion thoughts and SMU
a potentially great year for what was the Big 12 is going to be overshadowed by signs of weakness. The 12 schools have some pretty damn good football teams-probably second to the SEC. Really I don't think its close

You're right. Right now, the Big XII can make a strong case that top to bottom IT'S the best conference in the country. Looking forward to the A&M-Arky results.
