Spoke with an unnamed source within the SMU organization. They have plans to take Ford to 60k. Some of it would be suites and the rest outside. Remember I broke the story on Gilbert. Don't doubt me.

SMU doesn't do anything for the SEC whatsover, but Dallas does. The best way for the Aggies and the SEC to pinch the Horns is to invite a Metroplex team. The only thing that doesn't add up to me is if the SEC really wanted another Texas team, they'd probably be negotiating with TCU. Only counterpoint to that is maybe Turner has a relationship with a key SEC prez.

Welcome to our world. Won't you come on in?
We have lots of recruits- they can help you win.
Hello SEC - let the fun begin.

(apologies to the late great Eddie Arnold for plagerizing his song)

GO PONIES!!!

We're talking about the SEC...a lot of the visiting fans will have never used a bus system and will never have heard of light rail...

We will need RV parking and open up the whole campus for tailgating. (parking lot behind soccer field)

Who in the hell do we know in the Dallas or Texas tourism department?

THEY NEED TO GET OFF THEIR [deleted] AND REALIZE THE TOURISM MONEY FOUR HOME GAMES FROM SEC SCHOOLS WILL BRING INTO DALLAS AND HELP US GET IN.

Alabama, LSU, Arky, Tennesse, Florida - they will all bring 10's of thousands of people into Dallas four times of year - they will be FIGHTING them off. It is literally worth MILLIONS to Dallas for this to happen.

My father tried to get tix to this weekends Vandy-Bama game in Tuscaloosa. You can't get a hotel room closer than Birmingham, and you have to reserve at least two night. ITS INSANE.

Someone get the mayor's office on the phone now and wake them up to this!!

I am extremely skeptical of this news. I mean this came out of no where!!!!!! Don't any of you think this would have been mentioned in the media somewhere???? It just seems way to good to be true, which usually means it is. If it's true and were in the SEC, I will be the happiest person ever. But, I do feel like this is crazy talk which will lead to sore disappointment.... I don't want to be a total [Gary Patterson] here but, let's just get real.
