I get the "humor" from the Tech letter to the editor from above, but I can guarantee you with 100% certainty that if a bunch if Aggies had done this to the Tech bus, Tech fans would be looking for someone's [deleted] to kick, and the Tech administration would be up in arms.

If someone smeared a bunch of stuff all over your car, you don't get pissed off initially because you think it's dog crap then start laughing about how great a joke it was since it's only stink bait.

Tech fans seem to consistently be deemed some of the worst in college football by a number of other universities. Not just the Aggies. There's a reason for that.

The Tech bashing on here is starting to get a little ridiculous. Things get heated during rivalries. Anyone who thinks Tech fans are this extreme mythical villain must have never sat in the "cheap seats" at the Red River shootout. We've vandalized a thing or two in our past...anyone rememeber TCU's field? Unfortunately civility is dead in sports, and it certainly isn't limited to Lubbock. Tech fans are no worse than any other Big 12 or SEC fans with maybe the exception of Baylor and Vandy...Ok definitely the exception of Baylor and Vandy

i disagree. i have many friends from OU, Texas, A&M and Tech. Tech fans are not cut from the same cloth as the rest. the others are not nearly as annoying as those from Tech.

agreed. i hosted some tech friends one time at our boulevard spot. they invited i think everyone they knew from lubbock. my wife's purse was stolen.

I've been to Tech for an SMU away game and have never been threatened with physical harm the way I was at Texas A&M this year.

i had no problems at A&M.

you're going to feel some heat from that comment-look Tech students are sometimes out of control. Tech needs to get that stomped down-too many Tech students don't give a damn and in fact it is hurting the reputation of that university. More Tech alumni need to stand up and condemn the idiots. Believe me there are a bunch of Tech alumni condemning their own fans on their message boards after each episode. I will say this is almost always drunk students-I think its stupid to claim that its really a reflection of the alumni of a university. Its rarely alumni at all.

the drunk 30-ish guy that was behind me when tech was here last was sure giving them a bad name. i've never had an issue with an A&M fan either at their games at Kyle or even when watching them at a bar here in Dallas. Texas and OU fans can be annoying sometimes, but those are usually of the type that have never set foot on either campus. rabid t-shirt fans.

look, i understand that every school has their bad apple fans, but there has to be a whisper of truth when alumni of EVERY school complain about Tech fans.

and please don't pull that "everyone hates a winner" crap...
