the SEC still has everyone hostage until they pick their 14th and I think, final member. At this point, not sure what they are waiting for unless they are trying to convince Florida State, Va Tech or Miami to leave the ACC. Oklahoma may take the spot too, once the Ok legislators are convinced there will still be a Big 12 for OSU to play in. With any of these additions though, the SEC is riduculously bloated and strong. Still think the SEC has something more strategic up their sleeve than Missouri.

Totally agree.
heck, they could still snag TCU. TCU hasn't accepted the Big12 quite yet.

No team from a state with a current member without a big change in the current agreements in place. They all seem adament about this. If the schools do relent, I would rank Clemson #1 and Florida State#2.

SEC will add greater value and make the addition of A&M more relevant with a strategic move to the west, not the northwest. Imagine a weekly SEC FB game in the state of Texas in a location with easy access by air and by car for their western division schools fans.

Of course, the frogs tend to jump from lily pad to lily pad. Which looks the best today they ask.

It also means that Cincy and UL are more likely to want to stay in the Big East. USAToday reporting that BC wants no part of UConn and blocked them from ACC - further securing Big East.

well, the Big12 issued the invite on what Wednesday or Thursday? I would have required immediate public acceptance within 24 hours. When closing any deal, you never want to leave it open over a weekend.
