my favorite solution to getting them in the stadium is turn on the sprinklers. but a wireless PA system with speakers conspicuously placed in some of the boulevard trees may be more well received.

Sorry guys, hate to ask you to retrace your steps, but what's the deal with the tennis courts going in there? Will the outdoor courts be separate from the indoor, or will it be one contiguous complex? I tried to look it up and I can't seem to find anything (other than there will be a facility there).

My understanding is the indoor facility will be located nearest to Mockingbird with a Ford Stadium type entrance (brick facade with arches) and the outdoor courts situated beside the indoor facility.........

Maybe form a conga line that leads BLVDers into the stands. They'll be trapped!!

We don't need to spoon feed visitors but publicize that this is a "traditional" tailgate area where people pull up, open up the back of the Suburban and get after it.

The school could charge a few bucks for parking there. It helps solve parking, allows for more traditional tailgating and can be a meeting point for visiting team fans.

I agree that providing some form of "traditional" tailgating is key to attracting the casual fan. Even if it's a parking lot that's not too far away where people could pull up on game day, pay like $10 to park and tailgate. Have the school provide "Mustang Buses" directly to the stadium (up until kick-off time when tailgating must be shut down) and back. Maybe have a few cheerleaders, Peruna (dressed up one) mascot, a few members of the band walk around the tailgate area (for a short period) to get people pumped up for the game. The Boulevard is fantastic, but I'm just not sure that the new casual fan will be as excited. After a few times in the traditional tailgate area and getting a chance to experience the Boulevard they may actually feel comfortable to just go to the Boulevard.

I wonder if Simon Cowell is available and we will just hold x factor tryouts during halftime...

I don't think gospel music after the game is going to pull people off the BLVD/ keep students for the second half because they seem to be showing a strong interest in non-gospel forms of entertainment. It could keep some of the most casual fans. Maybe for a couple dates. But I do like the idea of live music in the stadium after the game. Or could they let people on the field and do fireworks for a night game? Seems like some of this could come from non-sports student life funds.
