Re: Player Suspended for Tulsa Game
I would never compare any of our players to a low life like ray lewis. Every fan wants their players to be tough and intimidating but a truly good athlete can do this through his play. My opinion JJ did the right thing.

And didn't Ray Lewis kill somebody?
People still talk nice bout him. I guess he is charismatic ... and crazy ...

Re: Player Suspended for Tulsa Game
is everyone just assuming that the reason for the suspension was his fit at USM or does anyone actually know why he was suspended?
And 78- making a player run a punishment in practice...thats not bad at all. a player will really think twice about breaking the team rules if he is forced to sit out a game. Im sure Taylor wanted nothing more to be out there with his team mates. My bet is he wont violate the team rules again.
No player is above the team...this was evident when June Suspended Emmanuel and Aldrick against UTEP.

Cliclclack, I agree. However, the team suffered due to the suspension. I think Pope is going to shine in the future but he was way out of place a lot of today. On Kinne's rollout for a td, I am pretty sure Pope was to be on him but dropped into pass coverage instead. He also took some bad angles. This was the position I played so I tend to watch it closely. That said, I still think the suspension was probably correct, but Reed needs to realize it was not just he who was punished due to his actions, but the whole team.
