Sorry DUDE! But that was a waste of time. Don't you think we'd join up with Big 10/SEC/Pac/ACC if we had the chance, we are who we are.
Some people simply forget just how bad it was...

my problem with the "super conferences" being limited to 64 teams is that you leave out too many schools that are already pretty heavily invested...not to mention scheduling issues.

If you are going to have 64 teams, presumably with eight 8 team divisions...why not make it 72 schools with eight 9 member divisions? Scheduling is better because you have 4 home, 4 road games to determine a division champ that presumably goes into a playoff scenario. Only question is whether the playoffs include only the 8 division winners or goes to 16 teams like I-AA has done successfully for years.

bring back the SWC/division

You add us to that group and have Vegas lay odds on who wins the NC in 5 years.

Guarantee you we would be in Top 30.

That means we have value that other BCS schools simply never will. That is why I hold out hope. Get BE membership and be competitive immediately. Let's have our Orange Bowl moment and then see how the chips fall. (and for your CP, if we do play in the Orange Bowl, please let it be against Ohio State, Fl St or Florida, not Pitt, Rutgers or USC)
