My favorite is actually in the future. And not football but basketball. I can't wait for the road trip to play UALR. Great city in a nice venue. You guys should consider joining us on this road trip.

Ok, when you guys are coming up north I'll reveal all the great native haunts.
Rutgers is a cheap train ride away from downtown Manhattan.
Suspect if the BB team comes up they would play Rutgers then Seton Hall, yes in Newark but it looks like a cop convention from the train to the stadium. Safe during game events

No need to go to Brooklyn (now a nice place and full of young professionals)
Stay away from the Bronx. Very bad. Could take the subway express to the Pin Stripe Bowl. That would be ok.

for U.conn you fly into Hartford, none stop with American Airlines from DFW.
Then you can find Amtrak to go to Boston, NYC, Philly, all over. We got trains up here.

For example few of the natives know about this. book mark this web site.

you folks are going to have a lot of fun up here.

Football: I think Louisville is getting extremely undervalued in this conversation. Could be a very cool trip. And while Annapolis itself is an awesome town, Navy Memorial Stadium is highly overrated for a gameday experience as a visiting team.

Basketball: Georgetown in DC, easily.

Probably less with UH as the only driveable game.

Hartford and Newark are places where you'd stick the enema, but they are close to NY. And while NY is a dump in its own way, its also NY. Wouldn't want to live there, but a heck of a place to visit, museums, shows, excellent gentlemen's clubs, bars, tourist sites, and you can go out drinking at 4 a.m. Also, with hoops games at Villanova, don't rule out an excursion from Philly to Atlantic City (aka Las Vegas East with real wise guys). By the way, Philadelphia fans in general are by far the worst! The only stadium with a magistrate and a jail on site. I went to the Skins/Eagles game to years ago in DC with my wife and there were enough Philly fans to make that night game full of fights. My wife asked, are this many fights normal at Redskins games? The answer is of course "no" except night games with Philly in town.

Took the words out of my mouth (or my typing fingers) with regards to Louisville. That's bourbon country!!
