Bullsh, sellouts are a NEW DEVELOPMENT in Houston. Go back and check the attendance:

CAPACITY 32,000

2008
Southern 26,555
Air Force 2,546 (I grant a pass on this one...it was at Ford due to Hurricane Ike)
UAB 18,246
Tulane 23,522
UTEP 18,134

2009
NW State 22,043
Texas Tech 32,114
SMU 26,889
USM 20,125
Memphis 22,036
Rice 28,243

"Usually" sells out my [deleted]. UH has been selling out games for 2 years now, during which a good chunk were probably sold in 2010 before the Keenum injury. Houston has very similar attendance issues to us, although not quite as bad on the low end.

One good season from a 6th year player and they think they are [deleted] Alabama or something.

Reading comprehension my friend. Did I say anything about 2008 or 2009? I plainly stated that we sold out in 2010 and 2011. That's a trend of sell-outs. I think a reasonable person would agree that that qualifies as "typically" selling out.

We haven't always sold out, if you go back far enough. Just like if I looked at SMU's records far enough back in time, I'd find a decent football team somewhere, maybe, but maybe not if you discount all the cheating.

Agree that you specify the constraints and its a small trend... But I think its fair to say that a trend requires a little more than 2 seasons. Clearly some people (or person) on our side can be a complete dumba$$ doesnt know what theyre (he's) saying... it happens....

The cheating... really are you saying there was no cheating ever at Houston during those times? I believe it was a cultural thing, it was just that we beat Texas in there home stadium and we were a little private college. Therefore boom we were hit with the scandal, also with the other factors, but I imagine all the people in the news agencies were current Big 12 alums... Still once SMU can regain its foothold in Dallas, Cougar High is screwed.
