Lawsuits are good. They make it so that I can spend money at 1st and 10.

Never has an avatar fit so well. I'm glad I inspired you to change that a couple of years ago.

You did, and for that I thank you, but that was three or four screen names ago for you.

I just wanted to keep it interesting. But given the new board rules, I'm Mitch until further notice.

Why can't the responsibility be on the parent to keep the kid from running around?

That would be way too much to ask, for the parents to actually pay attention and make their kids behave.

Maybe something for the extra Peruna Handlers to do.

You also the only poster in the history of this board to successfully return from banishment as I recall. That is also interesting. Keep up the good work.

Keep in mind the previous years they would have the yellow jackets trying to prevent folks from sitting on the grass and everyone complained. We can't have it both ways. Also we can't expect every kid to sit there and watch every minute of the game because more than likely one of the parents is constantly having to manage them. They are kids and have a short attention span. Going to football games is about the experience and the game not one or the other. The younger you are the less football as you get older you watch more. This is what I have seen with both my boys 7 & 9 since going to SMU Football and FC Dallas games the past 4 years.
Not sure how to fix the wall, but padding doesn't sounds like a good idea, maybe change the pitch of the grass at the bottom so you don't go crashing into it?

Dutch has a damn bounce house at the tailgate for his kid. When he's at the boulevard, it's fine to jump around like a little monkey and get all of his energy out. But, when you go to something important, like church or an SMU football game, sit still and pay attention.
^that.

Put a fence around it and a sign that says "Keep Off the Grass".

Only tort lawyers make this a problem. My seven year old daughter watched more than three quarters of the game, but then asked to play on the hill. I sat at the top of the hill on the grass and watched her 85% of the time -- only looking away for the snap. If she got hurt, unless there's just some sort of outrageous negligence on the part of SMU, I'm not suing. It's my fault and part of the risk of living. Mortality rate in the U.S. is still stuck at 100%.

Nonsense. Tort lawyers create a market for defense lawyers and that's a good thing.
