I agree with the comment about flirting with the top 25 and how that raised our expectations.
As disappointed as I am with losing 4 of the last 5, it sure the [Corso] beats the 1-11 or 0-fer years we've experienced. Am I satisfied with this season? No. Is the record about what I thought it would be this year? Yes.
I expected another win or two but that was with the hopes of Padron playing well and no Zach LIne injury....

We lost our best offensive player for the year. We have some concerns about the play at the QB position. And the worse we can do is go bowling.
That is a heck of an improvement over 4 or 5 seasons ago.

Extra month of practice is way overrated.
What is not, is the fact that it is a reward to our players for the hard work they put in all year(s).
Just as important, we can claim a 3 year bowling streak. When we get better coaching and better players down the line and start going to better bowls in the future, these three baby step bowls will help pad the resume. Any team in the nation that can boast a long bowl streak has a few stinkers in there.
Take the bowl bid to honor and reward the players and to keep the streak going.

I don't really give a [deleted] whether we get blown out in our bowl or not but we do have to accept the invite. 3 straight bowls would be a critical step in the right direction for this program. Besides you have to straight up suck or be in some kind of serious trouble with the NCAA to miss a bowl these days.

That's someone who supports the Oakland A's baseball team. That is being an Athletic supporter.

Well, those are two of the only 4 CUSA schools currently bowl eligible, so that's not exactly breaking news.
