And a last final thought. Maybe you know or have known of someone with a unique skill set. The person that has perfected the art of 'looking busy.' I previously worked with one, the very best you could imagine. Had the boss fooled for quite some time.

Not everyone in a company needs to aspire to be the best. You need a certain stable of dependable, above average guys who get the job done and go home. If you fired your "B" team for never being an "A" team you might find it difficult to get the more menial tasks completed.

What college football team doesn't rely on those who excel in recruiting to recruit? This is such a non issue that I wonder how many of you have any actual knowledge of the process.
