I got one of those vintage calendars a couple of years ago when they first came out. I purchased mine through Heritage Hall so Gerry York's group would get a kickback: http://www.athletichistory.com/. They are covers of old game programs.

I thought it was cool at first, but it's just generic artwork put on the game covers of countless other schools. The only thing "SMU" about them is the fine print stating the date and opponent.

It's nice that SMU is included in the company's list of schools, but they will really impress me when they produce calenders with covers from more recent years, when they had pictures and artwork specific to SMU. I would pay double what they're asking for a calendar of 1970s and '80s game program and football media guide covers.

At least let me get to January or halfway through January before you throw my calendar gift under the bus.
