Dubious QB excuses don't fly too far when you surrender 398 yards total offense in first half

But if they had a better QB, they could have gotten a couple more first downs, and limited the uh offense to 375.

Yes but if Carrier hadn't got hurt early then UH would probably have 75 yards more plus a punt return based on the Penn St Secondary

Everything is relative.

I'm sure Penn St. folks will not use it as an excuse. Just go out and play and see what happens.

But Line started the majority of the games. You are making myrdel's argument for him.

I am really not trying to argue. Just saying it is more like us if JJM were not able to place that he be replaced by Padron as opposed to replaced by Kaiser.

I would take half of their offense versus Pitt.

Houston must have had at least 12,000 fans.

Announced at 46,807-but I'm sure its padded based on pictures I've seen of pressbox side. Houston had pretty good showing from 50 to endzone plus another few thousand on Penn St side. I'd think they had about 15-18,000. Maybe even 20,000 if there were numbers on Press Box side which wasn't showed much. Each quadrant of that stadium holds 23,000
