The WDNWHA Committee stopped looking at players late last evening in order to concentrate on Klemm. Although it may have been obvious to most that WDNW Coach Klemm, the process had to run it's course prior to us being able to give the green light to the Phillips hire. I am glad we were finally able to get this done and apologize for the delay, but this time of year has to be primarily dedicated to the recruits.

A perfect Hire and great news as NCAA 'dead period' ends.....I hope he can poach a few UH athletes to SMU. We deserve it!

Maybe he'll bring back Rolo to help the qb's and recruit as well. You can never have enough good recruiters.

June and Phillips are close. This should put to rest all of the speculation that June is a short-termer. What Gehrig Dieter and the team heard is exactly right...June will be our coach for the next several years.

It's all good news...a re-engaged head coach, a re-energized fan base, a tremendous Texas recruiter who is a knowledgeable run and shoot guy, and a program moving forward to the Big East with a decisive bowl win over a name opponent it its rear view mirror.
