A month? Maybe you just aren't connected to the school or Mustang Club. He spoke less than a month ago at the signing date receptions in Houston and Dallas, he appeared at a fund raiser over two weeks ago. Get your checkbook out more often and you might see him. Or like your kids, are you waiting for an in-home personal visit from the Easter Bunny?

I was talking about the world outside of the hilltop. No interviews, no junior days, no spring practice, and virtually nothin to sell the school to anyone outside of the people that already support the school. Life exists beyond the mustang club.

We need to handcuff him to the desk during critical recruiting periods...food, water, toilet of course.
Do you know why 99.9% of coaches aren't public figures? Because 8 months out of the year, 12-14 hours a day they are either in their office or at practice. And the other 3 months they travel and teach summer camps. Why? Because they love their job, their players and their school. Why? Because that is what it takes to prepare, recruit, install, teach and win at the highest level. I get that Junes is laid back and promotes a laid back culture. I get that he's a different kind of coach. But take care of and deliver you g*dd*amn vaunted offense and don't take job interviews lit. during your most important recruitment weekends. Oh, and enroll some polynesian kids if you're going to spend so much time there.
