How about Dad Van Gundy? Great piece on RealSports about the Van Gundy's in case you didn't catch it.

Didn't see this name, but how about Greg Gard, assistant at Wisc? He's had some definite success and seems ready to be the head coach.

I agree it will not possibly happen but it sure would be nice get enough money people on board to be able to back up the truck for Shaka Smart.

Same game tonight, but Bruiser Flint is getting it done at Drexel

i'm open to a world class assistant, but not a guy who has never left the Cheese state. Bruiser Flint would be great, shoulda had the foresight and hired him last year. He might become a target for bigger fish now. I could see Illinois wanting him if Shaka won't bite. We have no chance at Shaka in my opinion.

Bennett from St. Mary's would be good. He completely rebuilt that program.

Bruiser Flint should be hired on his name alone.

I was always a fan of Bruiser Brody. I wonder if they are related??
Do unto others before they do unto you!!

He was fine, just not Cal. 3 postseasons in 5 years, 15 or 20 games over 500 in the league etc. I think they just got the idea they were a premier basketball school which they aren't
Re: Off the top of my head: Coaching list
His last year they were 15-15 including 11 conf wins after a slow start. Cheney had "down' years like that as well. I'd welcome a .500 'down' year.
